Now Serving: Oxford’s White Pine Coffee Roasters, a Specialty Coffee Roastery.

The warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee is the first thing guests of Stag’s Leap Farm Bed & Breakfast wake up to every morning.  So our quest for the best coffee options has been a labor of love, and we have found our “Holy Grail” with White Pine Coffee Roasters.  WPCR,  as they are known here locally, has been providing specialty coffee in Michigan since 2014 before owners Bryan and Brad moved the roastery to Oxford in 2021.

Their headquarters in Oxford is referred to as “Lumber Camp,” as their six signature blends are all named after jobs in Michigan’s logging industry during the 1880’s – the same period when Stag’s Leap Farm was operating as a stop on the Pony Express.  We will feature their Dark Roast, “Timber Cruiser,” here every morning for you to enjoy!  And if you love history, White Pine Coffee Roaster’s headquarters, roastery, and café are housed in Oxford’s beautifully restored grain and milling facility build in the early 1900’s.  As a guest at Stag’s Leap, you can tour this impressive building and the roastery upon request with advance notice.

White Pine Coffee Roasters is a small batch roaster and purveyor of high quality specialty coffees,organic by nature and ethically sourced from around the world. After those beans are roasted right here in Oxford, you can enjoy WPCR’s Single Origin and Signature Blend coffees knowing your drinking the freshest seasonally harvested coffee possible.

Nestled in the northwest corner of downtown Oxford, White Pine Coffee Roaster’s Café is open daily 8am to 3pm, and till 5pm on weekends (Closed on Mondays).  A bonus that we love to share are the pastries from Crust Bakery of Fenton, which WPCR’s featured at the café for a perfect pairing with whichever brew you choose!  And don’t forget to ask Cammie, their café manager and barista extraordinaire, about their famous “Crackalacka,” a nitro cold brew that is a one of a kind WPCR original!
