This February, relax, laugh and bake our delicious signature cookies with Stag’s Leap’s own Marla Dais!

Since Stag’s Leap Farm Bed & Breakfast first opened, every one of our guests has been greeted with a plate of freshly baked cookies waiting in their room.  But we have never taken the credit, as our dear friend Marla Dais has a genuine gift and love for baking.  Her Chocolate Chip cookies have never failed to impress, and we have lost count of the times people have asked for the recipes or where they can buy these delicious treasures.

For the first time, Marla has offered to share her recipes with us and a few lucky guests over the “Baking with Marla” weekend of February 16-17^th, 2024!  Wake up to enjoy a savory breakfast on Saturday morning, to meet this charming woman and chat over coffee.  After lunch on your own, couples will join us in the kitchen to bake one of Marla’s fantastic cookie recipes, side by side, to ensure a wonderful time and delicious outcomes from the oven!  Yes, you will take home a full batch of the cookies you bake.

It has truly been a joy to be part of Marla’s growing fan base, and an honor to provide the dried cherries this past year for her new fabulous Almond Cherry cookie.  These have quickly become a new favorite of our guests at  Stag’s Leap Farm to enjoy on the road home in the gift bags we send everyone off with!

As a “thank you” to everyone who shared the many compliments and requests for more Marla’s cookies over the years, we are excited to announce that starting in 2024, we can fulfill orders for Stag’s Leap’s exclusive Marla’s Cookie boxes.  Available for pick up only, guests will be able to order ½ dozen of either her famous Chocolate Chip, or savory Cherry Almond cookies to go.  Just order 24 hours in advance, and they will be baked fresh for you to enjoy on the spot, or to take home and share with your family and friends.  Too good to be true, but proof that 2024 will be a “Happy New Year” when you stay with us at Stag’s Leap!
