One of our most beloved traditions, Chicken Cocktail Hour gives guests the chance to unwind in the late afternoon while our friendly flock wanders by for a visit. Sip a drink, enjoy the fresh air, and share some laughs as the hens provide unexpected entertainment.

Inside the inn, our welcoming parlor invites you to cozy up next to the fire with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. It’s the perfect place to play a game, unwind after a day of exploring, or simply enjoy a moment of peace and warmth.

Tucked beneath shady trees, our hammocks offer the perfect spot to escape with a good book or drift off into an afternoon nap. It’s one of the most peaceful ways to soak in the countryside around you.

Our charming gazebo is a guest favorite for reading, listening to music, enjoying morning coffee, or simply savoring a quiet moment. Surrounded by nature, it’s a calming place to start—or end—your day.

Stroll through our thoughtfully tended grounds, where blooming flowers, vibrant greenery, and quiet corners create a serene escape. Whether you’re taking photos, exploring with a loved one, or simply enjoying the walk, the gardens offer a peaceful retreat.

Our expansive pollinator garden—recognized as a Monarch Waystation—is always buzzing with activity. Watch butterflies, bees, and birds flit from bloom to bloom, and admire the two active bee hives that help sustain the garden. It’s a joyful display of life and color throughout the warmer months.

As the sun sets, gather around our outdoor fire pit for a glowing, cozy end to your day. Roast marshmallows, swap stories, or simply enjoy the crackle of the flames beneath the Michigan sky. Blankets are always nearby for extra warmth and comfort.
