Partners

At Stag’s Leap Farm Bed & Breakfast, our guest experience is shaped not only by the history of the house and peaceful surroundings, but by the incredible local partners who share our values of craftsmanship, care, and community. From gardeners and beekeepers to bakers, wellness practitioners, farmers, and artisans, each partner brings their passion and talent into the Stag’s Leap experience in a meaningful way. These collaborations allow us to support small, local businesses while offering our guests thoughtful touches, memorable moments, and a deeper connection to the Oxford community we love.

Marla Dais

Stag’s Leap Signature Cookies

Marla Dais is a long-time friend of Brett’s and a cherished part of the Stag’s Leap Farm family. Known for her love of baking, Marla has spent years delighting colleagues and friends with homemade treats—and now our guests get to enjoy them, too. From the moment guests arrive to the time they depart, Marla’s cookies—offered at check-in, enjoyed daily, and taken along for the journey home—add a warm touch of comfort and joy. She has even hosted baking experiences at the inn and regularly volunteers her time at our events. We are deeply grateful for her generosity, her friendship, and the smiles her baking has brought to so many of our guests over the years.

Goat Life Farm

Stag’s Leap Signature Bar Soaps

Jeanette started making our custom bar soaps from her goats’ milk in 2025. The luxury scents of her lavender and verbena soap elevate our guests' bath experience with the love that can only come from a local family farm. In 2025, the Ross Family Farm was able to expand to a larger property north of Stag’s Leap Farm Bed & Breakfast, where you can visit their cute goat herd and check out the myriad of items they grow and create on their beautiful piece of heaven.

White Pine Coffee Roasters

Our Gold Standard Coffee

Providing specialty coffee in Michigan since 2014, owners Bryan and Brad moved the roastery to Oxford in 2021. Their headquarters in Oxford is referred to as “Lumber Camp,” as their six signature blends are all named after jobs in Michigan’s logging industry during the 1880’s – the same period when Stag’s Leap Farm was operating as a stop on the Pony Express. Our breakfasts feature their Dark Roast, “Timber Cruiser,” here every morning for you to enjoy! As a guest at Stag’s Leap Bed & Breakfast, you can tour their roastery upon request with advance notice.

Jill Brzezinski

Our Honey & Beekeeper

Jill founded the company, Buds & Blooms Gardening based on her love of helping her family with small home vegetable gardens. While raising her family, she worked at greenhouses and earned her degree in Landscape Horticulture. Then Jill expanded into beekeeping and maple syrup making, as a member of the Seven Ponds Beekeeping Club. In 2025, her property in downtown Oxford could no longer contain her multiplying healthy hives, and we couldn’t be happier hosting her hives in our pollinating meadow at Stag’s Leap Farm Bed & Breakfast.  Luckily for our guests, her honey bees pay rent in the form of delicious fresh honey! Starting in 2026, Jill will be teaching a hands-on beekeeping class through Oxford Parks & Recreation & Bee presentations at the Oxford Library.

Sarah Flanigan

Housekeeper Extraordinaire

Cleaning By Robin, was referred to us by the owner of Oxford’s original B&B, Maple Cove. Sarah came on to clean with Robin in 2023, as Robin expanded her service business from gardening to housecleaning. In 2025, Sarah took on Stag’s Leap Farm Bed & Breakfast as her very own account which she manages herself. We are all very lucky to have met them both, and are super proud to share how our rooms sparkle and shine like the diamonds they are to us!

Darcy Engle

Outdoor Summer Yoga Series

Darcy began looking to integrate mindful movement into her daily routine around 2014, and quickly found her passion for teaching yoga. Darcy and her husband spent their Anniversary at Stag’s Leap Farm Bed & Breakfast in 2024, and as many conversations at our breakfast table evolve, she started an outdoor yoga series here in 2025. Thanks to Darcy, our guests can benefit from her creative flow process and natural healing in our gardens as Michigan’s weather allows.
